The #1 Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic in New York, NY

What is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)?

SMP is also referred to as a hair tattoo. It's simply the art of creating the illusion of real hair follicles. Our artists are trained to use different types of needles (single micro and three-point) in order to achieve optimal results.

Aside from the hairline, our artists also pay very close attention to key factors such as blending, matching, feathering, density-building, texturing, and scar concealment in order to produce undetectable natural results. SMP is the most realistic, non-invasive, cost-efficient hair loss treatment out there. If done correctly it is seamless, undetectable and, in many cases, unbelievable!

What Our Clients Say

"Samantha has given me results from just one session. I’m a woman with melanin and dark colored scars. Her Bioneedling treatment has helped me more than dermatologist recommended creams and laser procedures. My scars are lighter and smoother from one session alone. She informed me of the correct vitamins I should take to assist with recovery, and they also assisted with my hair loss. She’s easy to talk to and very educated which makes the experience so comfortable. I will be back for a few more sessions for sure, because I can’t wait to see the final results.."

Angelie

"My experience with Samantha was a very good one she’s very professional did a wonderful and everything worked out great in the end and I love the results I highly recommend"

Tommy

"I can 100% recommend them for your scalp pigmentation. I've been bald for over 30 yrs and basically gave up. It looks completely natural, even my daughter thought that my hair had grown in. Thx for everything!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SMP detectable?

Scalp micropigmentation has become such an effective hair loss solution because of its consistently natural and undetectable results. We pride ourselves on the ability to seamlessly replicate each individual hair follicle with nano technology to create a perfect match for each client.

How many treatments should I expect?

Most clients can expect between 2-3 sessions to complete their treatment depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. These treatments are usually spaced about 14 days apart.

How long do the results last?

After completion of your treatment (2-3 sessions) a client should expect the strength of the color to last for many years. Over a longer term, a client will very gradually begin to notice slight lightening (not discolor) of the treatment. Within 2-3 years they can undergo a brief "touch up" session to restore any fading and secure many more years of their style.

Does the procedure hurt?

For most of our clients, the pain minimal and it's consistently less painful than traditional tattoos. We use the best numbing cream for better comfort. After your session, you won't experience any further discomfort.

What equipment is used for the SMP procedure?

The equipment used for a scalp treatment is considered micropigmentation or "permanent cosmetic" equipment. There are many different brands and designs and equipment includes a digital power source, a hand-piece, and disposable micro needles for the insertion of pigment. Most SMP technicians use different equipment than standard tattoo artists to ensure the deposits are delicately placed at the appropriate depth in the skin.

Is there any down time to the treatment?

SMP is non-invasive and requires no down time. In most cases, you will not need to take any extended time away from work, school, or other functions. After treatment it is common to notice slight redness on the scalp for 2-3 days post session. This redness subsides quickly and most clients return to work either right away or within a couple days. Clients are also allowed to wear hats or headwear should they feel the need.

What is the aftercare procedure?

Your SMP journey doesn't end with the treatment. To maintain the results, you have to take proper aftercare measures. Aftercare will affect the outcome of your SMP treatment. Taking proper care of your scalp after the treatment will slow down the fading process.
